From the Wall Street Journal:

"Ten U.S. Army recruiters are offering volunteer help for Katrina evacuees at Houston's Astrodome. But the recruiters, struggling to keep enlistment up during Iraq war, are also available with options for the jobless. "Our intent is to approach the evacuees at the right time for them,'' says Army spokesman Douglas Smith."

Great. So the remaining people who didn't die brutally from a series of Bush administration fuck-ups can now get a second chance at dying from an administration fuck up in another country! Hell, why die at home when you can travel to die? And furthermore, please die for the administration that cut funding for hurricane preparadness and took BLOODY HELL FOREVER TO HELP. What, that didn't kill you people already? Let's Keep trying! OH BOY. And they are waiting for "the right time." How tactful of them.
